Our team has a combined 30 years of experience in labour wards, birthing centres and home births, including nearly 20 years in Singapore hospitals. The skills a doula needs are very different from a midwife's or nurse's, so our doulas are trained specifically as doulas. All are certified with Childbirth International, one of the most rigorous programmes in the world, or have equivalent experience.
International Director
Di's passion for calm and gentle childbirth led her to specialise in hypnosis and HypnoBirthing®. She trained as a doula and childbirth educator with Childbirth International, and is the Regional Liaison and a faculty member of the HypnoBirthing Institute™.
Director
Wendy's passion for birth began with the natural, drug-free births of her two children. She is a Childbirth International certified doula and holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology from NTU. Through her work as a doula, childbirth educator and counsellor, she is committed to giving women the support they need as they become mothers.
Bradley Method Instructor
After a completely natural birth with her first son in the USA, Angelyn and her husband Josh trained as Bradley Method® instructors in California to bring the method home. They were the first to teach Bradley classes in Singapore, and have taught here since 2012.
First Aid Instructor
Eileen is a registered nurse and paramedic who works in a hospital A&E department. She has taught first aid for over 10 years, is certified through St John's Ambulance, where she is a faculty member, and is also a certified birth doula.
